The HAS was founded in 2016 by Sneha Dave, a recent graduate of Indiana University, who has lived with severe ulcerative colitis since the age of six. Our organization is run entirely by young adults with chronic medical disabilities who are on a mission to connect and empower the next generation of patients through advocacy events and online programs.
